Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Name Baby No. 3 Chicago West.
The couple announced their surrogate was pregnant in September 2017, and she gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Monday (January 15), at 12.47am, weighing 7lbs and 6oz.
It was reported back in June 2017 that the pair had hired a surrogate to give birth to their third child, after doctors warned of potential health risks if Kim carried her own child.
Today, Kardashian announced on her blog that they’ve named the girl Chicago West. The name continues their preference for non-traditional names begun by their first-born North and son Saint.

‘Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,’ the reality TV star wrote on Monday.
‘We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.
‘North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.’
Kanye married reality TV star Kardashian in 2014. Their first-born, daughter North “Nori” West, was born in 2013, with son Saint West following in 2015.
The surrogate for their third child was reportedly paid $45,000 (£32,676).
At the start of the year, the couple’s son, Saint was reportedly hospitalised with ‘a bad case of pneumonia’, before being discharged after a couple of days, healthy and well.
Meanwhile, last week it was revealed that Kanye rapped down the phone for a fan, just days before she passed away from terminal cancer.
