Illusionists MAGUS Utopia left the Britain’s Got Talent judges stunned with their audition.

Magus Utopia are ones to watch on Britain’s Got Talent 2018 after they stunned the judges with a terrifying trick involving spears.

“I’ve been working on illusionism for around twenty years, since I was 15,” he revealed. “From a crazy hobby, it became my passion and what I love.

“I have really big dreams and people sometimes laugh at me if they hear them. If I get four yesses, it would just make me so happy.”

After a quick chat with the judges, Marcel got in to bed – and with one swoosh of the bedsheet, he was suddenly transformed in to a scary woman.

“How the hell did that happen?!” said a flabbergasted Simon Cowell.

The other members of the group, dressed as feathered monsters, soon appeared and let off a cloud of sparks.

Marcel reappeared and climbed in to a small cage, which was then wrapped in black plastic, preventing him from seeing out.

As it was suspended in the air, spears were shoved through the bars, supposedly impaling Marcel.

Finally, the cage was set alight, and when the smoke cleared, Marcel was no longer inside.

He reappeared in his bed, as if the ordeal had been a particularly horrific nightmare.

The illusion left the judges and open-mouthed in awe, and the audience rewarded the group with a standing ovation.

Explaining why they entered the show, Marcel said: “We love the UK and we haven’t performed so much here yet.

“This show is a great way to show our magic to many people here, and we hope to come back many times.”

An impressed Simon commented: “I’ve gotta tell you, I’m thrilled that you’ve chosen Britain’s Got Talent to show this.”

Sharing her thoughts, Alesha Dixon observed: “It was like a scene from a movie, I’m gobsmacked. Everything about that was first class.”

David Walliams said: “There was so much going on. I’m sure there’s a two-hour Vegas show in you guys.”

Amanda Holden added: “For me it was very reminiscent of Cirque du Soleil. It felt so twisted and so dark and so surreal, it was like the inside of Simon’s mind!”

Magus Utopia cheered and high-fived as the panel gave them four “huge” yesses.

“It was such a great, unexpected surprise,” remarked Alesha.

We’ll find out whether Marcel and co make it to the live shows next month.

Britain’s Got Talent 2018 continues next Saturday at 8.00pm on ITV.
