Arizona winter storm, Dumps Over 40 Inches Of Snow Around Flagstaff

One of the largest winter storms to hit Northern Arizona in some time has left the state, but definitely left its mark. The National Weather Service says the Flagstaff Airport finished wih 40.3 inches of snow from the storm. Munds Park had 43 inches, Kachina Village picked up 42 inches. Mormon Lake had 40 inches of snow, while Williams had 38, downtown Flagstaff had 29.5 and Bellemont had 26.6. Arizona Snowbowl had 42 inches of snow from the storm. The ski resort has picked up 87 inches of snow in the last week, bringing the season total to 278 inches of snow. Snowbowl has a base of 103 inches with all trails and lifts open. We will see sunny skies for the next several days, with warmer temperatures each day.
