Exactly two years to the day Bayram Abolhassani-Larki was seen alive for the last time before he was murdered, OPP announced a $50,000 reward to help find the 19-year-old’s killer.
Police say Abolhassani-Larki was last seen in Toronto on Dec. 12, 2016. His body was located on May 16, 2017 in a vehicle parked in a field near Post Road in Ops Township.
For the last two years, detectives from both the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service (CKLPS) have been actively working to solve the murder. In addition to the reward, police say Abolhassani-Larki’s mother has collaborated with both police services to record a video appealing to anyone who might have information about the disappearance and murder of her son.
