Mr Andrews has now turned his attention to the resignation of Jenny Mikakos.
“As you’re aware Jenny Mikakos resigned, I believe this was appropriate course of action to take,” he said.
“She’s a very, very hard working person and I am grateful to her for her efforts and I am grateful for her contribution to the party…and Victoria.
“I have asked Martin Foley to become Health Minister and he will be sworn in today.”
Mr Andrews added that other arrangements for different portfolios will be announced at the appropriate time.
