Former EastEnders star Belinda Owusu has revealed she is days away from giving birth after announcing she is 40 weeks pregnant with her first child.
The 31 year old took to social media to share the surprising news with her 11,000 Instagram followers, who were quick to respond to her happy announcement.
Best known for playing Denise Fox’s daughter Libby, affectionately called “Squiggle” in the hit BBC soap, Belinda is now starring on Holby City.
The actress wrote to her thousands of fans: “Ready when you are, kid” alongside the hashtag #40weeks as she struggled to conceal her bump in a tight black hoodie, beaming at the camera.
One fan commented: “Whatttttt?????? Surprise surprise……what a lovely picture, you look amazing. B…obvs had no idea, but delighted for you. Best job in the world. Good luck and enjoy [sic].”
A second wrote: “Omg so excited for you hun can’t wait to see pics [sic].”
While a third chimed: “Wow you kept that quiet, congratulations,” as many more wished the actress well.
