MIAMI, FL – A quadruple shooting has left a mother and two children dead.
Late Sunday, Miami-Dade police issued a statement saying a man named Antwon Lamar Fair is suspected in the shooting.
Fair, 32, should be considered armed and dangerous police said.
According to police, officers responded shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday to reports of gun shots being fired in a neighborhood in southwest Miami-Dade County. When they arrived, police found four people with apparent gunshot wounds.
The Miami Herald quoted family members who said the shots rang out after Takeeya Fulton, a 39-year-old mother of six, got into an argument with the father of three of her children. Both Fulton and her daughter, Nuckeria Harris, 19, were shot and died at the home.
Two of Fulton’s sons were also shot and airlifted to a local hospital.
Corey Bishop Jr., 17, later died at the hospital. Another boy, a 12-year-old, was in stable condition according to police. The newspaper reported that Fulton has three other young children, who were not injured.
