Savannah police are investigating after a gun was fired inside the Oglethorpe Mall on Sunday.
Police spokeswoman Keturah Greene said around 2:45 p.m., a fight between two people inside the Jimmy Jazz shoe store escalated. One of them pulled a gun and fired it, but no one was hit.
Both parties fled, Greene said, and no one was injured.
Greene said there was no immediate threat to the public.
The Jimmy Jazz has been closed to the public while police investigate, Greene said.
No other portions of the mall have been shut down.
“People are just shopping as usual, besides detectives being in that one store,” Greene said.
