TMZ reports that DMX suffered a drug overdose at his home around 11PM on Friday night and has been hospitalized. His condition is said to be “not good” but he reportedly does have “some brain activity,” though another source tells them that he is in a “vegetative state.”
They add that the overdose apparently triggered a heart attack and the rapper was taken to a hospital in White Plains, NY. He is reportedly in the critical care unit.
DMX has struggled with substance abuse for years and has gone to drug rehab many times before including back in 2019.
