Safeway stores in Arlington, Falls Church and McLean have appointments available this week for people 65 and older to get the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the store’s appointment website. Appointments are available Wednesday through Friday.
Safeway has partnered with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to provide COVID-19 vaccines to our customers.
“We expect all our pharmacies will have the COVID-19 vaccine,” Safeway says on its website. “The CDC and each state’s public health department will determine who is eligible to receive the vaccine in each phase.”
In Arlington, the Safeway stores with available vaccine appointments are located at 5101 Wilson Blvd near the intersection with George Mason Drive, 3713 Lee Highway in Cherrydale, and 2500 Harrison St. near the intersection with Lee Highway.
In Falls Church, vaccine appointments for people 65 and older are available at 6118 Arlington Blvd. and 7397 Lee Highway. In McLean, appointments are available at the Safeway at 6244 Old Dominion Drive.
