Simon Pegg will not be sitting behind the steering wheel anytime soon.
The Hot Fuzz actor, 50, has been banned from driving for the next six months after being caught doing more than 60mph in a 40mph zone.
The Shaun of The Dead star was also handed a £660 fine on top of the ban.
Magistrates heard that the actor was snapped by a speed camera clocking up 63mph in north London, in his Mercedes GLE 500 in January last year.
Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court was told he already had points on his licence, but an additional five meant he was disqualified from driving.
The actor did not appear in court physically, however was legally represented.
He had previously pleaded guilty.
On top of the £660 fine, the actor – who is worth an estimated £20million – was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £66 victim surcharge.
