Tennessee murder-suicide: mother kills her 4 children and herself.
Authorities in Maury County, Tennessee, are still trying to find out what led a mother to kill four of her adopted children and herself in their home on Monday.
Reportedly, one of the other siblings came home from work and found the victims ranging in age from 14 to 17 years old. Sheriff Bucky Rowland says 55-year old Cynthia Collier appears to have killed the children and then herself in an apparent murder-suicide. He said the crime scene was gruesome, leaving a lot of questions.
Sheriff Rowland also said it appeared to be a loving home and one that was immaculate. He said it’s very important to learn what the motive was and what would lead to someone doing this to their loved ones.
