The husband and nephew of “The Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond were involved in a serious crash Wednesday afternoon on Drummond property near Pawhuska.
Caleb Drummond, Ree’s 21-year-old nephew, was ejected from the fire truck he was driving during a head-on crash with another fire truck, driven by Ree’s husband, Ladd Drummond.
Caleb Drummond was taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Ladd Drummond refused treatment at the scene.
The OHP said the crash took place on a gravel county road, and visibility was reduced during high winds.
