Kevin Cadle, the former Great Britain basketball coach and longtime NFL and NBA broadcaster with Sky Sports, has died at the age of 62.
The American presented Sky Sports’ NFL coverage until last year, and is thought to have passed away suddenly this morning.
Before moving into a career in television, Cadle was the most successful coach in British basketball history during which he coached the Scottish and English national teams as well as guiding Great Britain to the 1992 Olympics.
During a 13-year career in basketball, Cadle won 30 titles during stints with Glasgow, Kingston, Guildford and London Towers.
The British Basketball League this morning said they were ‘shocked and saddened’ by the news.
