Dog ham: Stephen Roseman asked for people to send their prayers to his dog

The Internet is really confused about this dog with ham on his face.

Stephen Roseman posted the photo to Facebook on December 23 with the caption, “This poor dog was badly burned and disfigured trying to save his family from a house fire. One like = one prayer, One share = ten prayers.”

Thousands of internet users responded, sending prayers and love for the seemingly suffering dog.

“Prayers for this sweet dog,” wrote Facebook user Cindy Edwards.

After being shared more than 100,000 times, it turns out it wasn’t burns on the dog’s face: it’s simply a piece of ham.

While many found the hoax funny, others felt they were duped. Still, the photo of the dog suffering from ‘ham on face syndrome’ continues to be shared.

Roseman has responded to comments on his Facebook page where he seems to say he did it to show how gullible people are.
