A Russian news broadcast was interrupted by a black lab that surprised the female anchor and refused to abandon his quest for her love.

The news might be largely full of doom and gloom these days: misery, death, destruction, and evil. But that just makes this yarn all the more pure and nice and good.

A Russian news broadcast had to be interrupted while live on air by a breaking and extremely important piece of news: A dog wanted to say hi.

Newsreader Linarte was delivering a bulletin about housing regulations when a big black lab decided to have a little jump around and a bit of a bark and a peep at what was happening up on the news desk.

The startled anchor pushed on with the bulletin, which is very rude TBH as the sweet dog probably had a vital story about a ball to file.

The dog was, reportedly, in the studio for another program but got loose and decided to go say g’day to all the people out there in TV-land.

Maybe that’s how we fix the bleak news cycle: More live updates from dogs.
