A woman was found dead inside a room at a South Beach hotel after two North Carolina men drugged and raped her, police said.
Evoire Collier, 21, and Dorian Taylor, 24, both from Greensboro, are charged with sexual battery and stealing the woman’s credit cards to spend money during a spring break trip.
Investigators are still working to figure out if the woman died from an overdose after taking a pill given to her by the men.
Police said the body of 24-year-old Christine Inglehart was found on March 18. Surveillance cameras from the Albion Hotel on James Avenue show her with the two men around 1 a.m. that day.
The men were arrested over the weekend and were denied bond.
