Gina Rodriguez has issued an apology for her using the N-word in a recent post to her Instagram Stories. In the since-deleted video, the Annihilation actress is seen reciting the Lauryn Hill-sung lyrics to “Ready or Not” by Fugees.
After facing backlash online, Rodriguez removed the video and issued an apology stating, “I just wanted to reach out and apologize. I’m sorry. I am sorry if I offended anyone by singing along to the Fugees, to a song I love that I grew up on. I love Lauryn Hill and I really yam sorry if I offended you.”

I stopped watching Jane the Virgin because Gina Rodriquez is very anti black, the fact that she said the n word and had the balls to post it on her story.. the things she said abt the black community hurts enough and this hurts even more pic.twitter.com/HyoL5DDfz3
