Actress Jessica Falkholt fighting for life after triple-fatal Boxing Day crash in Australia.

She is best known for her role as Hope Morrison in Home and Away, when she appeared on the soap in 2016.

New South Wales Police have confirmed that 29-year-old actress Jessica Falkholt and her 21-year-old sister Annabelle are in critical condition, and the pair have now been airlifted to separate Sydney hospitals where extended family members are travelling to be with them.

“Sadly those family members are travelling to the St George and Liverpool Hospitals to engage with their loved ones who are very much in a critical condition at this time,” Highway Patrol Chief Inspector Phil Brooks said.

ABC adds that police said the crash was caused by one car being on the wrong side of the road.

Jessica played Hope Morrison in Home and Away over 16 episodes in 2016, joining the soap alongside Olivia Deeble as Raffy.

During her two-month stint, Hope’s storylines saw her kidnapped by Spike Lowe, arrested for stealing credit card details from customers, and ultimately taken to prison.

Home and Away airs on Channel 5.
