The husband of Los Angeles’ district attorney was captured on video pointing a gun at Black Lives Matter protesters outside his home.

Melina Abdullah, a Black Lives Matter organizer, tweeted video of the footage. Abdullah was protesting outside L.A. County District Attorney Jackie Lacey’s home early Monday, and the man in the video was identified as her husband, David Lacey, according to NBC News.

“I’m front of DA Jackie Lacey’s house for that community meeting she promised with the Black Lives Matter Los Angeles crew,” Abdullah wrote. “Rang her bell to invite her. Her husband pulled a gun, cocked it, pointed it at my chest and said ‘I’ll shoot you. I don’t care who you are.’”

“We heard the gun cocking, and I thought I was being paranoid,” Abdullah told NBC News. “But then he opened the door, leading with the gun. He saw me and lowered it, pointing it at my chest.”

”I will shoot you. Get off of my porch!” David Lacey said in the video.

Jasmyne Cannick, a candidate for Los Angeles County Central Committee, also tweeted the video.

Cannick tweeted that Black Lives Matter was protesting outside Lacey’s house because she was “refusing to meet with their constituency for an entire term in office.”

District attorney spokeswoman Shiara Davila-Morales confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that Lacey’s husband pointed the weapon at protesters.

“As with any incident, LAPD will first investigate and if appropriate bring to an independent prosecutor’s office for review,” the District Attorney’s Office said in a statement to the Los Angeles Times. “The California attorney general’s office will assist LAPD in this matter.”

Lacey said during a press conference that her husband “reacted out of fear” and was “profoundly sorry” for pointing a gun at the group, according to ABC7.

She said that as district attorney, she’s been followed, confronted, received threats, and had protesters show up at her house multiple times, according to ABC7.
