While touring an auto plant in Detroit on the day of Michigan’s primary, Joe Biden got into an argument with a worker who accused him of wanting to take away guns.
“You are actively trying to diminish our Second Amendment right and take away our guns,” the man told him.
“You’re full of sh*t,” Biden told the man. “I support the Second Amendment.”
At this point, a staffer tries to get Biden to move on, but he tells them to “shush.”
“Right now, just like if you yell fire, that’s not free speech. From the very beginning — I have a shotgun, a 12 gauge, a 20 gauge, my sons hunt. Guess what, you’re not allowed to own ‘any’ weapon. I’m not taking your guns away at all. You need a hundred rounds?”
The man tells Biden he’s seen a “viral video” where Biden talks about taking away guns.
“A viral video? Like the other ones they’re putting out there, it is simply a lie.”
